THE JOURNEY

S. Bruce Nadeau’s path in the literary world began with a deep-seated passion for the written word, nurtured through years of rigorous academic studying and a relentless pursuit of intellectual clarity on his own.

Nadeau is an independent researcher specializing in Mormon history and Early Judeo-Christian theology, with over two decades of focused study. A former member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for twenty-two years, he held multiple ecclesiastical callings and received his temple endowments in 2000, providing him with first-hand experience of the faith’s internal practices and beliefs.

In addition to his research work, Nadeau has spent the past twelve years working as a Network Administrator, serving as Head of the IT Department for two companies. His professional background in Information Systems complements his analytical approach to historical and religious inquiry.

Beyond his own writings, he is dedicated to fostering a community for emerging and self-published authors. By providing a platform for discovery, Nadeau continues to champion the academic integrity of the next generation, ensuring that the literary world remains a vibrant space for diverse perspectives, scholarly essays, and profound discovery.

I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1985 near Quebec City and remained an active member for many years, participating in church service, holding callings, and attending the temple.

Over time, sustained engagement with questions concerning Latter-day Saint history and doctrine led me to undertake a more focused and independent line of inquiry. The responses I encountered were often limited or inconclusive, which prompted a deeper examination of primary sources and historical scholarship.

This process ultimately resulted in my departure from the Church and a continued commitment to independent research. My work now centers on the careful analysis of Latter-day Saint history, with an emphasis on verifiable documentation and transparency in sources.

The aim of this research is to contribute to a clearer understanding of the historical record, enabling readers to engage critically and draw their own informed conclusions regarding matters of belief and tradition.
